Tra l’essere e essere

Between the Being and to Be
This sculpture has two main sides. On one side there is a vortex made of hands and different expressions of feelings that represents the struggle of the human being trying to understand and relate with his own emotions and the different forms of ego. On the other side there is a figure that represents the moment of realisation.
Simply existing, embracing its totality, achieving consciousness and understanding its multidimensional nature. The characteristics of the figure are imprinted in negative (towards the inside) to emphasise that this realisation comes from an inner research. Between the main sides there are hand gestures symbolising prayer and meditation.
